Γεννήθηκα το 1962 στην Αθήνα. Αφού πήρα το πτυχίο μου BSc in Accounting and Finance από το Αμερικανικό Κολλέγιο της Ελλάδος (Deree College) συνέχισα τις σπουδές μου στο City University Business School (Bayes Business School) όπου πήρα το πτυχίο μου MSc in Shipping, Trade & Finance.
Στην συνέχεια εργάστηκα στην Barclays Bank στο dealing room για την αγορά συναλλάγματος και την διατραπεζική αγορά. Συνέχισα την σταδιοδρομία μου στην ναυτιλιακή εταιρία Tsakos Shipping & Trading όπου εργάστηκα στο τμήμα ναυλώσεων της εταιρίας ασχολούμενος κυρίως με τα πετρελαιοφόρα πλοία.
Το 1990 ίδρυσα την εταιρία ΒΕΤΑ Σύμβουλοι επενδύσεων η οποία το 1995 μετεξελίχθηκε στην ΒΕΤΑ ΑΧΕΠΕΥ της οποίας είμαι Πρόεδρος, Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος και βασικός μέτοχος έως σήμερα.
Επίσης τα τελευταία χρόνια είμαι Γενικός Γραμματέας του ΣΜΕΧΑ και μέλος του διοικητικού συμβουλίου του Συνεγγυητικού Κεφαλαίου Εξασφάλισης Επενδυτικών Υπηρεσιών.

I was born in 1962 in Athens. After obtaining my BSc in Accounting and Finance from the American College of Greece (Deree College), I continued my studies at City University Business School (Bayes Business School), where I earned an MSc in Shipping, Trade & Finance.
I then worked at Barclays Bank in the dealing room, focusing on the foreign exchange market and the interbank market. I continued my career at the shipping company Tsakos Shipping & Trading, where I worked in the company’s chartering department, mainly dealing with oil tankers.
In 1990, I founded BETA Investment Advisors, which in 1995 evolved into BETA Securities S.A., where I remain Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and principal shareholder to this day.
In recent years, I have also served as General Secretary of the Association of Members of the Athens Exchanges (SMEXA) and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Investor Compensation Fund for Investment Services.
